So true. I am 70 and work full time. In retrospect, I should have waited until now to start collecting, but since my mom passed away at only 55 years old, I was betting that my genes for long life weren't all that good. So far (happily) I've been wrong. But as a gambling woman, I'm okay with that. The other option that I didn't cover was whether it's smarter to take half of your spouses income or just your own. I'll tackle that next (even though it's simple math).
